List,

Over the last 30 years, 3 layouts and 11 Ntrak modules, I have used CORK, HOMOSOTE, MASONITE & WOODLAND SCENICS "Foam Roadbed" at least once. I have since concluded that the WS Foam Roadbed is by far the best. It is flexible, quite, reasonably priced and a much lower profile than that of the others.

I also have used all the glues and chaulks over the years and have also concluded that the Woodland Scenics "Foam Tack" is about the best thing going. When doing ballast work the "Foam Tack" will kinda "melt" when you apply the wet water and glue which help to make the ballast adhere wherever the "Foam Tack" is since its water-soluble.

With all this said I RECOMMEND the FOAM ROADBED & FOAM TACK very highly. I know I will never go back to the other products again.

By the way I am not associated with Woodland Scenics in any capacity except as a satisfied customer.

Have Fun, I Am,
Mike Langford
SOO Line 1964-67
