How to Wire a PECO Code 83 Switch

Hi folks,
For my next layout I plan to use Peco Code 83 Insulfrog turnouts for my DCC based layout. I’m unclear as how best to wire these turnouts. For example, can I use the Peco switch machines and if so, which ones do I use for under table mounting? In addition, what type of switch do I use at the control panel? I see Peco offers several different types but I’ve been unable to find information on which one is used. I like the style and the fact you can purchase a plastic piece to hold six of them. What do I use to power the switch machines also? Can I use an old MRC power pack?
Alternatively, would I be better off using Tortoise Switch Machines? If so, any advice on how the get wired up would be appreciated.
Many thanks in advance!

You can use the Peco switch machines or the Tortoise.
How thick is your roadbed + subroadbed where you're mounting these?
Peco make an extended pin (PL10E) machine for under table operation.
You can mount the Peco machine several ways: right under the switch (dig a 1"x2" hole in the roadbed), under the roadbed (drill a 3/8" hole). There's a plate you can buy for mounting, but I screw the machine straight on. Ther's also a topside mounting plate.
As far as I know, the Peco electrical switch has a hangup for CDU users: it passes both contacts every time you throw it. This means that the CDU discharges on the first contact (keeping the switch in its old position) and proabably has not recharged by the time it gets to the second contact. I hope someone can tell me I'm wrong. I use a pointer and studs in a layout diagram.
The peco switches for turnouts are PL26 with R Y B W suffix for lever colours.
The Tortoise machine is wired up like a reverse loop -- low voltage DC supply, DPDT switch, and 2 wires to the machine. Also can have 2 LEDs in series to show switch position.
