A GP40 and GP40-2 are the same length, have the same number and size of radiator fans, and everything is located in the same location, so they are generally the same, especially when compared to a GP35 (which is shorter, has 2 large and one small fan). But there are still some differences between the two (and there are also some differences between different GP40s).

---jps
