N Scale Couplers

My first time on the forum so please be gentle. I would like to get rid of the stock N guage coulplers and replace them with a knuckle type. I need couplers for 2 Atlas SD60s, a Bachmann GP50, and a LifeLike F40PH. In the past I was able to order conversion kits (Atlas GP40s). Any ideas?
Thanks
Ed

The standard option for replacing rapido couplers (N scale standard) is Micro-Trains (MT) which is an offshoot of Kadee. The brothers split the business and one took Kadee (HO) and the other started Micro-Trains (N & Z), using the same design for the coupler.
Here's a link to their website.
http://www.micro-trains.com/
Go to the tab for "Conversions" and that will bring you to a 3 page pdf file listing all the major brands and models of cars and engines and which MT conversion kit you need.
By the way, welcome to the forum. [#welcome] It's always nice to see more
N
ormal scalers here. And especially so if their name is "Ed". [:D]
Good luck,
Ed

Thanks Ed. I found reference to the GP50 and F40PH, but not the SD60.

You might try asking about the SD60 over on one of the specialized N scale forums. I'd suggest either Atlas or TrainBoard. Maybe someone there has made the conversion and can say what they used.

I used the Assembled Micro Trains 1015 RDA couplers for my SD-60s.:

ITEM # MT-1015-1
I bought them online from Brooklyn Locomotive Works, a great discount N scale store:
