Hello All,

I live approximately 2-1/2-hours away from this layout; despite the fact that I live in Colorado.

My wife and I have been supporters (members) of this museum since I first visited.

If you get a chance to visit, go to the dispatchers' desk and ask if there is a member that can take you on a "backstage" tour.

The layout is impressive, but what the volunteers do (of which I hope to become one someday) is more impressive, and they want to share the passion of model railroading- -no matter the scale- -to all that visit.

Another up-and-coming railroad museum/layout is the Moffat Railroad Museum in Grandby, Colorado.

If you are in the Centennial State and have the time, the Colorado Railroad Museum at Golden also has a layout in the basement that shouldn't be missed.

Hope this helps.

"Uhh...I didn’t know it was 'impossible' I just made it work...sorry"

The detail on this is another level.  I'm glad the video held some scenes for awhile because there's just so much to look at.  This took some serious time and skill to create over the years.  What a treasure

The director of the museum, Michelle Kempema, appears frequently on the Youtube channel TSG Multimedia.  She has, I think, turned into quite a railfan and is quite engaging.
