Walthers Diamond Coal Corp Photos
Posted by caldreamer on Saturday, June 11, 2022 12:14 PM

I am trying to assemble the Walthers Diamond Coal Corp kit and the instructions are very vague as to the location of the walls.  Has anyone assembled this kit and be willing to post photos of the four sides?  With those I will be able to finish assembling the walls.

                       Thanks In Advance

Google walthers diamond coal corp structure and click images. There are plenty of pictures from different angles. I have one and assembly was not that difficult. Built that kit many years ago.

Sorry to read about your troubles.  Have you looked online for any pics?

I looked at the instruction manual, and it looks eerily similar to the New River mine from Walthers.  I built that.  Is there a particular place you're having issues?

I was having trouble placing the various walls.  Got it almost finished.  I am putting on the handrails and stairs.  That will finish it.  I will not be using the slack bin, as I am using the kit as the slag processing plant in my steel mill.  I have a building that I will be using for slag storage with a short conveyer between the two buildings with a dump track next to the storage building.

I hide the the exterior wall seams with some of the sprues left from the model to create downspouts.
