Does anyone have sources for good quality photo backdrops? I need some specific types of landscapes and from what I've been able to find the pre-made backdrops look obviously photoshopped. And even the good-looking ones don't have enough scenes to choose from. Does anyone have a good source for backdrop photos? I'm wondering if stock image sites could work...
I'm just curious what everyone else has used. And feel free to share your pics!

Matt head to ebay. look for seller amandajane under search term backdrops. She is out of UK and I have a few of them. they are fantastic and theprice is reasonable for the size. of 10 to 15 feet long and 15 to 24 inches high. she has multiples of panaramic views so you could bould a seamless backdrop out to 40 50 feet. she does have eastern PA. They are on a vinyl backing I used double face tape t mount the one so I can make it reusable. The backdrop in this shot is one of hers. The photo isnt all that great. Thought I had a better one. I will do a better shot over the weekend.

I shoot my own and now use Affinity Photo to assemble a backdrop.
The one pictured here was taken with a Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge (cellphone) and edited in MS Paint. It was then printed out at Kinko's on their large format printer.

Mark did you use panorama mode on your phone or did you take individual pictures and stitch them together?
For the one in the picture I used panorama mode, then took a thin long section from the center of the photo to make the backdrop. I'm still amazed at how well that worked.

I agree that the amandajane store has some nice backdrops, but I did not see any identified as "eastern Pennsylvania" in the N scale section. Which ones would you think convey that eastern Applachian style of mountains?
The backdrop here is from amandajane and this one was part of a series shot outside state college PA. Not actually listed as eastern PA. 149D, 201A are two from the east. Northeast. I looked through the collection and noticed alot arent listed. Keep in mind she might not have the material to print on and cannt get it right now, and what is listed are either what is in stock or best sellers for what material is in stock. I sent her a message asking.

I have looked at the amandajane site a couple of times. Nice backdrops and decent pricing. I just wish that she offered more industrial backdrops.

I am still waiting for an answer from my eamil to her a few days ago. I want to get another backdrop for the HOe project.
Haven't heard from her. I did look at what I have and realistic backgrounds.com is another good site for backdrops
