I'm sure you could buy some Evergreen styrene shapes and manage to copy something you find a picture of. Or alternatively, there are some decent overpass kits out there.

Are you looking to cast this out of plaster? Like a stone arch overpass? or a modern concrete/steel highway overpass?
I would start by looking at the prototype you are trying to model. You need to know what this "modern overpass" looks like in the first place.
Styrene I-beams, strips and tube should be all you need to create a nice bridge frame. Then put some styrene sheet on top of the I-beams for the road surface.
Any other questions, let me know.

Hello All,
When searching for styrene shapes check out e-Bay.
Search under "Styrene- -Model Railroads & Trains".
You can find bundles of assorted shapes and sizes.
I've bought several of these assortments. They are inexpensive and provide a cheap source of varied shapes.
Hope this helps.

Rix Products makes simple overpass kits with stone side barriers. Pikestuff makes metal guardrails. These might be considered modern, since things like highway overpasses last a long time.

You might also check YouTube. There is always a wealth of info, some useful some not.
I believe that there was an overpass construction article as part of the MR Beer Line series of articles.
I built several "suggestions" of an overpass for the background of the streets on the upper level of my layout, but without some painted-on background scenes, they look rather sparse...
The supports and wide horizontal members were cut from .060" sheet styrene, which I buy in 4'x8' sheets, while the base of the guard rail, the uprights and the top railing were all done with various sizes of strip styrene. If you're building a fully-modelled bridge, you could use the .060" sheet material for both the road surface and, if they're needed, the sidewalks, too.

I watch Ron's trains n things "Building A Model of a modern highway bridge." He using an existing Rix highway overpass kits. Within two episodes or more. Although it's in N Scale the techniques and supplies are basically the same.
