my Stanton curve HO scale layout
Posted by GN24 on Friday, April 2, 2021 12:25 PM

I have been working on this project for a long time and it has taken almost 20 hours of work to do it. The stanton curve is an elevated class 2 curve from the movie unstoppable. I am building this layout to recreate the scene were the imphamous triple seven is speeding through the curve with sparks flying and smoke coming up from the hot brakes. the curve is made out of tooth picks popscicle sticks and cardboard. it might seem like it was a kit but is was all crafted from scratch. It uses 3 feet of no.8 flex track. it stands on a 3 by 4 foot foam board with a thickness of one inch. The buildings will be crafted using custom cut plastic kits. as for the rest it will be greenscreen. I have just completed my 1206 model and tested it along with 777 on the tracks and they both run very smooth. I don't know if I can get any photos here to show you but you can get a peek at it in my youtube video ¨The making of HO scale AWVR 777¨

Why don't you put a link back to your video, and a time stamp as to where to find the viaduct.

I found it, it would be easier for others instead of searching through your previous post.

Yes, I agree with Mike:  A link would make it easier for others to see your work.
