Bill, the layout died a sudden death! When I started work on the structures, I quickly found out that the amount of "real estate" I had planned for structures was by no means sufficient. On30 track is the same as HO track, but you do need four times as much space for structures compared to HO scale. I tried to come up with something within the given space, but the layout would have ended up looking like a caricature. I was able to sell it to someone who extended it both in length and width - I could not have done that in our premises.
