With no room for a workshiop, the sawhorses and Kreg Rip Cut have been great purchases. It's about to get a workout - I've hit the point where it's time to saw up at least one sheet of plywood to make 1x3 equivalents. Until now, I've only tested it by ripping up a 2x4 sheet of 3/4" ply.

For wiring witht he C shape support - if the layout surface is goign to be raised above the base of the inside of the C shapes, you have lots of space that is a built in wiring channel. And after all the under layout work is done, for a neat appearance, if that is important based on where the layout is located, you can cover the open bottom with some sort of sheet good that is nicer looking that the bare underside with all the wires and stuff. Just make sure it can be removed - no glue.

Thanks Randy, you've always given great advice.  I've never gone wrong following your advice so when you give something thumbs up, I pay close attention!  Looking forward to trying out the Kreg Rip Cut after setting up a cutting table!  Haven't given wiring a lot of thought other than wiring each section as a separate module.  The openness of the back and underneath should make wiring to components a breeze and relatively easy to keep a tidy look.  Yes
