Static grass shiny
Posted by gpharo on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 9:32 PM

I have recently installed static grass on my layout, however I have noticed that it is shiny and even glistens, if it's directly underneath my lighting.

I am thinking of possibly spraying my grass with scenic glue or possibly Testors Dulcote, but I am not a big fan of the second option.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What brand of static grass is it?  I don't notice that with Silflor.

A spray coat of matt medium is what i have often seen used.  Helps bind everything in place too. So cleaning doesnt end up with the tornado effect
