MiniTrix and Servos / Cobalts / Tortoises

I have minitrix turnouts. It seems that there is no hole in the throwbar. I feel I have made the mistake of buying minitrix turnouts... Should have went with Peco. Anyways, since the throw bars are so small and have no hole, I cannot risk drilling, plus they have the metal plate. Next option was drilling the red piece. Well also.. too small and risky. I'd put the servos on the side but the throwbar is too short. (I also thought of extending it but seemed too fragile.) I also have a 9157 fleischmann three way turnout. There also is no hole in the throwbar.

I had to google minitrix because I was unfamiliar with them.  The 1st hit was an old article by someone who likes them and uses their switch machine which sit beside the turnout Atlas style.  Same for Flesichmann.

If the throw bar is too delicate to drill through, then I guess you did make a mistake, if you are commited to using servos.

I used Atlas N Scale turnouts.  The throwbar is very short.  I drilled a hole in a piece of styrene, cut a strip with the hole in it, and used superglue to attach it to the throwbar.

I've done this on 8 turnouts, and only one came loose because I didn't let the glue cure long enough.
