Rix/Pikestuff Guardrails

Just wondering if these can be used on a curve?  How bendable (if at all) are they? Thnx all.

Probably the best way is to try and heat it up with a hair dryer and adjust it to the desired curve? Based on my usage of their guard rails I don't think they would bend much unless you heated them up until they give way, whithout cracking...

As long as the posts are anchored securely the rails take gentle curves well.

Trevorsmith, nice shot of tractor-trailers climbing a grade thru arid mountainous country.

Yes, the guardrails are very flexible and follow curves well.

My only suggestion is to use square styrene rods, quite thin, for the vertical supports because the kit packages don't have nearly enough.  This is particularly important when going around curves, but I think more supports look better on straight rails, too.

I spray mine with cheap rattle can silver paint and then give them a hit of Dull Coat to tone them down.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
