Took two tries. Clean up and ready for layout

Good job. My 1st was a bit rough but functional.
Looks like your soldier is blobbing up instead of melting into the joint. Suggest cleaning the copper clad cross ties & rail with red scotch pad, apply a small dab of flux, hotter soldering iron, allow the heat to build up between the rail and cross tie before soldering. You will see a dramatic difference in the quality of soldering.
What soldering iron are you unsing? What is the temp of the iron tip? What solder are you using? Practice on a few scraps of rail and you will find a combination of cleaning, flux, heat and solder to give quality joints.
