Well I only wish I get in to see, but even though I pay for the digital archives, I still can't get in. I have better luck closing the browser ( FireFox) and going to the archives first, and it works, and THEN logging in to MRR. ???????

That was a subscriber bonus article in the Sept. 2017 MR and Update with scenery in the Oct. 2017 MR by Paul Boehlert. No longer available to view. I know I have the copies, but not really wanting to look for them. For that size switching layout, I'm sure He would have used like all Atlas #4's or equivalent, for the 8 turnouts. If You can not find Your issues, let Me know and I will look for mine.

PS: To The Forums.......
The #4 Snap Switch. The list says you need 5 right hand and 4 left hand. They are Atlas #'s 861 and 860.
Also says you need 8' of Atlas flextrack.

Snap-Switches are not #4s -- they are quite a bit sharper. The author was careful about not creating too many s-curve situations with the Snap-Switches in that design.
[By way of contrast, the Atlas CustomLine "#4s" are actually about a #4½ frog, which makes them a good choice in many layouts.]

He also mentions that the minimun radius is 18'' so that tells Me that the Atlas snap switches He is using are the ones with the 18'' radius divergent route, not the 22''.
