I see you've been a member for awhile, but welcome to posting on the forum! That's a great looking desert scene. Please tell us a bit about your layout - and more pictures is always a good thing.
Mike
Welcome!
I'm going to venture to speculate that your layout is based on the Southern Pacifics Tehachapi Pass? And from the cars in the scene the era is 70s/80s?
I also model SP so that scenery is familiar from all of my prototype research...
Steve
If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough!
Good stuff, Eugen. Please show us more!

Do you have any favorite locomotives/roadnames you'd like to share?
I'd love to see some pictures of your train collection.

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.
I don't have a leg to stand on.

Given that the store is labeled "Caliente", pretty safe bet.

Hey Eugen!

That is some pretty nice modelling!!
Please show us more.
Cheers!!

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Eugen, nice modeling I'm partial to the transition era and HO scale, but you can't beat good modeling with great scenery regardless of scale...
Switzerland? Hmm, that's a long way from southern California! If you are looking for a couple of good reads about the SP try John Signors books I have four, Tehachapi, Donner, Shasta 1, and Shasta 2 all are great reads a bit on the high end in pricing but are well worth it to a fan and modeler of the SP... hope to see more of your work around here.
To day I 'm working on the crane.
.
WOW! Your modelling is amazing.
Please do not be a stranger in these forums.
