CVP Easy DCC-Where to buy???

Does CVP only sell their products direct? I haven't seen any of their products at the online retailers I do business with, and Tony's doesn't list them in the DC comparison charts.

I have dealt with the personnel at CVP and they are honest and the product is worth the money paid.

BTW, the EasyDCC system components are available in kit form if you feel you can assemble some of todays electronics. AND they work as advertised, if you follow the instructions exactly right down to not making any error corrections yourself. I made a mistake on one of the circuit boards and tried to fix it myself, ended up sending it to them to repair it and got a scathing note back with the repaired unit saying that if I had sent it to them in the first place, repair would have been a lot less costly. [:I] The assembly instructions are clear and my wife and I put a system together in just a few evenings. Be aware that the command unit, boosters, and throttle extender are all seperate units so when you get done, you have four or more seperate circuit boards to mount on the layout. Have fun. [8D]

My railroading friend in town has been dealing with CVP since 1992 when he oroginally purchased their "Railcommand" system. Last Saturday, we dropped out the Railcommand and installed the EasyDCC. It took a couple hours and a trip to Radio Shack, but the system is great. I personally have the NCE PowerhousePro. They are actually similar in nature and more advanced than the "stripped down" systems that are coming out these days.
