Salt Lake city layout questions
Posted by conrailran on Sunday, January 15, 2017 10:55 AM

Good day,

I pulled out this track plan for review and as starter layout to get my skills back in shape. When I saw the price of the unitrack package. 700 to 900 just for track. I have seen other manufacturers  track specifically  one  used  a set   that was black with powered/pre-wired  switches.  Any additional  information  or suggestions?

Kato Unitrack is the 'Cadillac' of 'all in one' roadbed/sectional track.  If you are talking about the Bachmann 'black roadbed' EZ Track - It has 'steel' rail and you will be cleaning it all the time..
