Track spacing in cornerstone car shop
Posted by trainaddiction on Friday, December 9, 2016 1:04 AM

Hi all,

I am building a yard with 2.5" track spacing (track has been laid) and would like to add a car repair shop (after thought). My tracks are 2.5" center to center and I can't find a spec on the Walthers cornerstone three bay car shop. I was hoping somebody has used one or has one they plan on using, and they would kindly measure the track spacing on the floor.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott,

I built the "Carshop" you are refering to. The center to center track measurements (right to left) are approximately 2-3/4". I checked the next measurement to the right, or center track and got 2-25/32", I then measured over to the 3rd track and it read 2-25/32". Good luck with your project, it is nice kit and will add great detail to your pike.
