Does anyone know how I could construct a (HO standard gauge and a HOn30 narrow gauge) dual gauge crossover using Atlas or other basic plastic track pieces?

A year or two ago I read a news story in MR that a European track maker had HOn30 track for sale, probably included a crossing.

You'd probably have better luck scratch building the entire thing instead of trying to modify an Atlas crossover. Use Google to search the narrow gauge railroading Web sites by typing in phrases such as HOn30, dual gauge, etc. I remember seeing a dual gauge crossover advertised, but I don't remember who makes it. You could also look for a copy of Narrow Gauge and Shortline Gazette, a magazine devoted to narrow gauge modelers.
