I finally got one line of my layout to work somewhat. The issue I am having is that after the locos pass over the turnout they stall. When I press the point to the stockrail the locos start running again, until they pass over the next turnout.
Does this sound like I have a contact issue with the points to the stockrails?
do you have feeders on all routes of the turnouts ? , that would be my guess if power is not going past OR are we talking on the turnout itself ?.. Jerr
Jerr - at this time I do not have feeders on all the routes of the turnouts.
I know the locos will go beyond the turnouts slightly and then stop. When I press the point to the stockrail for the line the loco is on - the loco starts going again.
I am not using any of the other routes at this time, just the mainline.
Thanks for your response

richhotrain The turnouts I have on the layout are from Atlas, Bachmann, and Model Power. GMG I finally got one line of my layout to work somewhat. Problem solved by the following process:
Cleaned the points and stockrail with a cheap toothbrush.
Additional cleaning with alcohol.
Finally, slightly bent the point for better contact with the stockrail.
Tested with multimeter and found 13.8v before and after the turnout and various other points on the mainline.
Hope what I did to resolve the issue will be helpful to others with the same issue.
