Has any one bluit the walters blue star ready mix model, I'm looking for ideas on how to weather it, if any one has pictures that would be great to.
I have done this https://kaleyyard.wordpress.com/20-range-road-ready-mix-cement-plant/. The model has been spray painted with Matt paints and the weathering is by powder from art pastels ground with sandpaper. "White" weathering on the blue girders is with talcum powder. Trevor
Nice work!
Where did the concrete block fence come from or is it part of the kit ??
Very nice modelling.

The concrete block wall along the backscene is a photograph I took in North Las Vegas. The original photo was manipulated in GIMP (free software) to take away perspective distortion and to scale it to 1:87. The image is then printed on matt photographic paper. The paper is then glued to foam board
The walls around the aggregate "bins" are not part of the kit. They are made from foam board covered in embossed plastic card. They are spray painted with a textured concrete coloured paint and then weathered with chalk pastels.
