3rd Plan It Problem
Posted by hwolf on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 12:57 PM

I have and old version of Plan It.  I have run into a problem.

1. I set up a Text box.--No Problem

2. Text Editor comes on--No Problem-I type in text--No Problem

3. PROBLEM -The text box now appears where it should on the plan except it is completey GREY with no text.

Any ideas.

You might try this. Sometimes the font size ends up set very small and you cannot see it in the resulting text box. Try double clicking the text box to open the “Modify Text Box” menu, then reset the font Size to a value like 2” or 4” or whatever. You can also drag the sides of the text box to make it a little larger, just in case it is too small for the selected font size.

I have run into this when switching back and forth between using the model scale and the prototype scale.

This 3rd PlanIt YahooGroup can provide a lot of answers.

I also suggest that you upgrade to the latest version. The developer of 3rd PlanIt works hard and deserves the support.

Thanks

That was the problem.

I would upgrade with them in a minute except my layout is complete. I was just playing with a building design.
