Peco turnouts

I have just won and purchased about $1,500.00 worth of variouse Peco under the table turnouts and track. I was wondering if someone could give me some guidance on wiring and switching. Also i am looking for making 1 turntable to the multiple engine house?I have a woodshop and some basic metal working equipment.i am new but really think these British made switches are nice compared to the Atlas I allready had.i want to get started designing and building the layout in the basement. However i need to understand the wiring. I have the Peco web page but they are sold out of the catalog and i cant figure out how to order the one with the info I think i need. also from the appearance of the pictures the switches look like something I can purchase a True value hardware which would be great. I could then design and build my own Power and switch station. Oh I have 2 Teckh II controllers. Thanks Respectfully Greg Oh I am also not familiar with exactly how to read responces. This has a section specifically on turnouts an describes the issues relating to the PECO insulfrog and electrofrog. The PECO catalog does not have any more information than the small flyer you will find in the turnout boxes.

you will need a DPDT or a SPDT switches that are either manually operated or an accessory component on an under the table switch machine..it's hard to explain how to do it by trying to explain it in this forum, but there are a lot of kalmbach publications out there on wiring your layout...I would advise that you invest in one of these publications because there are many different ways and many different situations that need special or specific wiring techniques when building your railroad...One that comes to mind is "Model Railroad Wiring Made Easy" or "How to Wire your Model Railroad" are good ones to start with.... Greg: were these used turnouts? Peco has made HO turnouts in different standards over the years and some of the older "universal" or "coarse" turnouts will give problems with NMRA wheels. (This is HO?)
Are you asking about wiring the switch machines (point motors) or the track?
Did you get a Peco turntable?

David I did not see a E-mail to repond. i hope this works? They are used i bought them off of E-bay I have taken numerouse digital photos I would like to post and send which I think will help all those that are tryen to help me. and I do appriciate it.All work I have tested them all I have 2 Tech II controlers .I Have10 ELECTROFROG HO/OO Universal Super ELECTROFROG right hand turn outs with Motors attached again I have pictures and Boxes with some instructions.What are NMRA wheels. i have bought 3 new Engines all are Kato oh I have a forth which is a Atlas.I have Atlas switches too but they are not under the table and I really like the PECO's gads I hope they will work with my engines...I am worried now cause the boxes say "Universal Super HO/OO Electrofrog..Ohh what is a frog?

Oh I have 10 right hand 20 left all with motors attached.Also about 60 36" pieces of flex track 100 nickle-silver curves and 20 straights. I also Have 2 Tech 2 Controlers.

NMRA wheels are the standard HO wheels used in North America. The Engli***oy train firms used a thicker flange and sometimes narrower back-to-back measurements an their wheels.
I have tried to fix older Peco turnouts by supergluing a scale 1x2 plastic strip to the guard rails (opposite the frog) to pull the wheels over a bit.

That's interesting. I've had to reset back-to-back measurements on a few locos to stop them derailing at the frogs on Peco points, I now set them to 14.5mm with a micrometer which seems to work - no trouble with turnouts or between the rails Kadee magnets.
