<p>With unlimited funds available, why go through the trouble of building a model railroad? I´d buy myself a real railroad.</p> <ul> <li>I don´t have to weather my trains - Mother Nature is doing this for me</li> <li>I don´t have to worry about dust</li> <li>I don´t have to build  benchwork</li> <li>Scenery is more realistic and it is for free</li> <li>No DC vs. DCC issue</li> <li>No more user applied detail parts which remain in the box</li> </ul> <p>[sigh] - why don´t I have that kind of cash?</p>
