If you perform an Internet search using Google and the term Marklin 6600, you will be taken to some sites that discuss this product. It is 1984 technology, and supposedly uses a triac or silicon controlled rectifier as a voltage regulator. It's just a speed control. These sites don't indicate if it was for AC or DC locomotives, but many Marklin locomotives ran on AC current, so unless you have Marklin trains, this product may prove useless.

Hi Cacole,
Appreciate your reply I have since got the controller running and by experiment found that by touching the live DC track with one of the other output wires now called switch wires the train will sloww to a controlled stop beutifully and the other switch wire does the same but for a shorter period but I still need to do some reserch as to actual control of these 2 switch wire knobs I will buy some micro reed switches to place on the track near the station and it will rtun semi auto with excellant controled stops and starts
cheers and thanks for the effort.
