Layout in a trailer or office building

Has anyone any experience building a layout in a mobile trailer or mobile office building. My present house is too small for the layout that I want and I want to build a layout that I can "take with me" when I move on in a few years. I don't recall seeing anything in MR about this but it seems to be that a used mobile office building with heat about 10 x 32 would make an ideal arrangement for shelf type operation.

John Armstrong briefly discussed the possibilities in the book
Creative layout Design
.
One of the things Armstrong discussed is the necessity of making sure that local zoning would allow such a thing, and talking to the neighbors, if for nothing else,to inform them you looked into the legalities, and are in compliance.

It was either last year or the year before that Great Model railroads had a narrow gauge railroad done in an old office trailer that had been moved several times becasue the owner worked on ranches as a foreman.

Short Line and Narrow Gauge Gazette for the last 20 years has been publishing (printed once over a ten year period and then republished) a series of articles on the construction of the Clear Creek RR, under the title of "Up Clear Creak". A D&RGW based line built into a 10 x 40 trailer and moved twice, with some damage due to trailer flex. The layout filled the trailer as it snaked around the room.

I've seen an LGB exhibition layout built inside a trailer. Must have taken the builder ages as they'd clearly had to strip the interior completely - it was pretty much full of trains! One side was modifed to swing up (like a burger stand) so that people could see the layout. This was a "show" layout though, rather than a "personal" one.
