Hi The order I use is:- plan it bench work back scenes then get enough track down to run a train preferably with passing loop and a siding or two get enough wiring in for the track that is layed After that it is what ever I feel like at the time I see it as important to get that train running for me personaly if it takes too long to get the first train running I tend to loose interest in the layout as it cannot be run in any sort of fashion. regards john
