<p> I quite like this kayout - especially the idea with the "hood" to cover it. Quite a lot of track, but that´s ok. A good starter layout! But why not directly go in to DCC? If it is a father-and-son layout, they both can operate it together - a lot more fun. Just because there is a power pack already available should not be the reason. After all, the layout is much easier to wire for realistic operation.<br></p>
