Identifying a locomotive's maker
Posted by ham99 on Saturday, September 12, 2009 9:04 PM

I bought an F3 A/B unit at a train show today.  They run great, but I can't find any identification of the maker.  They were used, in a Spectrum box that was clearly not original.  The decoders have a model number and 09 NOV 02 but no ID either.  They are Rock Island with #124 on the number boards but no side numbers.  They are black/red with the screen/grid across the top of the sides.  Any suggestions for identifying the maker?

I found them.  They are Intermountain F7's, not F3's.  I identified them from the picture on the Wig-Wag site.
