Having been in the Carrollton, Texas area for the last 25 years, I suppose my layout plan focuses on the downtown area. The era would have to be set somewhere between 1990 and the present day...That involves modeling BN, BNSF, UP, SP, post - SP from the unfortunate takeover, Fort Worth and Western, and Dallas, Garland and Northeastern...As far as purchases, I suppose my LHS (Discount Model Trains in Addison, Texas) and www.ebay.com
