Where to buy Suitcase Connectors in UK.
Posted by PaulWhitt20 on Thursday, April 30, 2009 10:02 AM

I was thinking of re-wiring my layout as I need more power feeds and was thinking of using suitcase connectors to avoid soldering.

Does anyone know where to buy suitcase connectors in the UK.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul

I haven't bought any yet but they are 3M Scotchlok IDC's.

Look at connector numbers 558, 567 and 804. These are sized to US Wire Gauge sizes and in metric. I think they use the 558's for model railroading.

Apparently RS components do them on line though I haven't been in to see. If you are successful then please let me know!

Cheers
