Foamboard adhesive

What type of adhesive would be best at securing scenery/structures to foam board, not to mention track? Thank you.

Latex Cauking or PL300 will both work fine.

"Ditto" PL300 Is great for foam to foam and foam to wood and I use Latex caulk to glue things to foam because it is easier to remove things that have been stuck down if you want to.

I presume you guys are talking about extruded foam and not foamcore board.  Any suggestions for the latter?

For foamcore board I have always used PVA white wood working glue with good results.

You may need to temporarily pin the joints while the glue sets, but being water based it won't 'attack' the foam core.

I use PL300 when I don't want something to come loose.  Latex caulk is good for things you might need/want to move later as Brent suggested.  I've had issues with the latex caulk on adhering the extruded foam to plywood.  If any movement is introduced, they start working themselves apart.

I've also used white/yellow wood glue on smaller applications with success.
