Hello,
Does anybody know where to purchase a N scale Ruler?
Thank You,
Hogwire
If they don't have them at your local, try Micro Mark.
Unless you're modeling ancient Rome and you need a Caesar figure... then try Preiser...

a 12 inch long ruler marked in 1/64's of an inch in 4 different scales in metric and standard? does it come with one of those mail-order classes to get a degree in engineering so you can use it . just counting the standard measurements theres gonna be 768 markings alone. lets see, another 305 markings for the metric, then the stuff used to convert to the different scales....i thought about this too much didn't i.
I'd Buy one now,But i'd have to wait till my son comes home from college and explain it to me!LOL
I had a N scale Rule with only N scale markings and do you think i could find that ?
Thanks,
Howire

A scale rule is very simple: it has feet and inches in several scales, along various edges of the ruler.
If you want to measure N scale feet and inches, you just use that edge. HO scale, use that edge.
It isn't difficult.

It's only difficult if you can't read the markings - especially N scale inches. If you're like me, and have the General Rule from so far back that N scale was not yet marketed, you may even have trouble reading HO inches. Perhaps another reason to consider O scale with On30 as the track gauge....or G scale. Heislers or Shays, anyone?
