preferred roadbed; homasote or ply?

<p>Don't use homasote for a "sub-roadbed" it has little strength used that way. But if you are looking for a very low profile roadbed then Homabed comes in 1/8" thickness in HO and NG widths.</p><p>1/8" scales to 11 inches of balast in HO and of course you can still work the scenery up around it.</p><p>Good luck,<br />-John</p><p> </p>
