I too like to model the WWII era with the idea of transporting equipment to the coast for over seas shipment. I'm always on the lookout for new material. Recently Corgi has released a few models that are very close to HO scale. I bought several of the M4A4 Shermans. They are slightly bigger than the Roco M4A4, but so close that they fit in nicely with the HO scale. I have also put a few captured German/Soviet equipment on the roster from time to time as there was the proving grounds in Aberdeen where the military conducted studies and tests on captured equipment.
