Hey guys,

Finally made some progress on my roads on the layout. The contractors have finally finished a strip of road way.

Here are the results

It's hard to tell some things from the viewing angle...

I will say that while dual center lines can vary a little from road-edge, i.e. they aren't always centered, they are always a fixed distance from each other due to the painting guns being a fixed distance apart.

While I haven't watched the road crews letter/paint RR crossing warnings, I'm guessing that they are applied much like street-crossing are now-- using large decals, so the everything is a uniform size/shape.

Looks good to me. For a first time road crew it looks fine. They'll get better as time goes by.

Good job!

How do I get in touch with your road crew so I can contract them to do some roads for me? Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Looks like nice work!  Paved roads really change the look of the layout, don't they?
