Hey,

I have EZ track from bachmann and I was wondering if i could ballast this track because i'm so far into building my layout and i was thinking on how to ballast it. If so how can this be done easily?

All my track is Bachmann nickel silver EZ Track. It can be ballasted easily and believably.

I use WS fine ballast with some medium mixed in. I move it into the shape I want with my fingers then trim it up with a small paint brush then soak it with 70% alcohol dripped from a glue bottle immediatly followed by a 50/50 mix of water and white glue. I let it dry for twelve hours then remove whatever I don't want. Be very careful around the turnouts.

What Jeff says.

I've got some wide-radius Bachmann EZ track on the Yuba River Sub, and you can ballast it just like any other track.  Jeff uses an alcohol/water spray to wet the ballast, I use a detergent/water spray (seems to work better in my dry climate in the garage).  Works like a charm.  I can't tell the EZ track from my regular flex-track after it's done.

Here's a shot of my EZ track on Yuba Summit.
