"Fewest Moves" Switching Problem / Puzzle

<p>I recall several articles in MR that were switching issues. You were presented with a train, a switchlist and a small diagram along with a list of dos and donts.</p><p>Very good stuff. Too bad that there were only a few of them and Kalmbach never made a book just with these puzzles.</p><p>Here is a online version I found some time ago.</p><p> <a href="http://www.precisionlabels.com/shunt/jg3tims0.html">http://www.precisionlabels.com/shunt/jg3tims0.html</a></p><p>Believe it or not, it is possible to replace all of the cars with the ones on the train and swap ends for a return trip.</p>
