Aristocraft radio control of DC

I've operated a garden layout using one of the Aristocraft throttles, it was ok. The main problem I can see with it is that it uses push-buttons for speed control rather than a rotary control knob. This made it a bit tricky to be sure that the power was off, and it's also quite tricky to switch with these units. I suspect they're fine for garden layouts or continuous run setups, but a bit tricky for end-to-end layouts
