Hi, I just recently invested on 4 Railway Design Associates kits & would like to know if anyone could provide any helpful hints on weathering & painting these kits. These kits are made with hydrocal & styrene products as well as injected molded plastic for very realistic details. All of my prior kit building experience has been on Walther's Cornerstone models. However, once I saw these fine detailed RDA's kits on ebay of all places (Also on Model Railroader's May 2008 issue) I knew I had to get a few of them on my layout. I would post the pictures here but I'm pretty new at this forum thing so I have not clue on how to do that... If you would like to see these models you could find them on ebay/ho scale/rda. I purchased the Fisherman's Coop, Delaney Iron Works, Freeman Mfg Co & Easton Mill. Thanks in advance for any info & tips!
