completly scratch building my layout
Posted by Trax21 on Monday, April 14, 2008 7:44 AM
Hello just thought I would try to post some pics of the lyout I'm doing I would appreciate any feedback anyone can give me good or bad. This is my first layout and it is only small as it is in my computer room. I have plans for a bigger one later and plan to use what I learn form this one there. I am building everything from scratch as I don't have a lot of money to put into it right now. (sorry if the pics come out huge my first time trying to post pics too)

Good start.

You can do a lot with card stock in terms of structures. A set of artists acrylic paints can give you any color you need (you just have to mix a little.)

Looks like a good start! I like the yard design.
If I may make a suggestion. A couple of your buildings look a bit too big for N scale.
