Building Instructions
Posted by rdgk1se3019 on Monday, April 7, 2008 3:52 PM

Hi all.

Just yesterday I purchased a model kit at a train show and found it did not have assembly instructions in the box .

The model is a water tower by Campbell #356

Anyone know where I can get a copy of the instructions?

Thanks,

Dennis Blank Jr.

As it stands, I have said kit complete with instructions.  If noone gets to it before I can, I could scan them for you and email them.  unfolded, it appears that the instructions are on an 11x17 sheet of paper, so these should fit nicely (with no weird scaling) on a regular sheet of paper.

Email is definitely not going to work for these... I have 6 scans (every bit of paper from the kit, including the templates).  I'll put them on a webserver so you can grab them (they'll be a zip archive, so you will need a program like WinRAR to open it if you have a computer running anything older than Windows XP.

Here is the direct link to the zip archive.  If that doesn't work for you, try this and choose the file "Campbell-356-WaterTower.zip" (it's the only one there).

Hope this helps you out Smile [:)]

Hi....

I got the files......but there is some info missing.

Some of the instructions were missing from the files.

I've got them, too.  If all else fails, PM me and I'll scan and make a PDF file and e-mail them to you, or I'll just put them in the US postal service.

It's a great kit.  I left the roof off of mine so I can create that memorable scene from the opening of Petticoat Junction.  Haven't done it yet, but eventually there will be 3 pretty girls in my tank.

You can also get the plans from Campbell, but it may take a while (assuming they are still in business).

I'll be glad to help, just say the word.
