A mac truck leaves the Owens Coal Company on its way to town.

A North and South bound freight are photographed over Junior Canyon.

Have Fun.... Bob.

I am humbled by the quality of that Owen Scene. Seeing the slight weathering on the corner street signposts is just that last touch of detail.

One tidbit, arent those concrete plates too new to show grass sticking up between? If I may venture to open my uneducated mouth and actually ask.. "Is the grass a little TOO healthy between the plates?"

Even so.. awesome work!

To achieve the illusion of height, the benchwork over the canyon was lowered by 15 inches. By doing so, i was able to add a dramatic canyon scene without having to consume layout space.

Have Fun.... Bob.

Nope, I'd say he's got it spot on. We've got driveways here who's weeds peeking through the cement can get that thick and in fact are that green.
