Does anyone have a best way to lay the Atlan Flex Track... glue or nails... unfortunately there are some spots where all I have is rigid foam.
Help
Jim, Modeling the Kansas City Southern Lines in HO scale.
Latex caulk, ballast color, laid on fairly thin, then weighted (with soft drink bottles) until the caulk sets. I pre-bend my flex to minimize lateral strain, and position it with track nails. (The nails will hold laterally, but not vertically.)
Chuck (modeling Central Japan in September, 1964)
Latex caulk, ballast color or clear, laid on fairly thin with a putty knife, then pinned with "Tee" pins until the caulk sets. I also pre-bend my flex to minimize lateral strain.
I stole most of this answer from Chuck who said it so well
