Does anyone know if Milwaukee Road actually ran E units painted to the Hiawatha colors (the orange, brown, and black)? I have a group of the old n scale Riverossi heavyweights in Milwaukee and love them. Thay were pulled by a set of custom painted Trix F units, then by Life Like's C liners but running them with the other guys Katos is like VW's and Caddilacs. Not too compatible. I have a set of Kato Santa Fe E units that i could repaintto match (sorry Santa Fe fans) but was wondering if they ever ran them that way.
