tsunami, how to make headlight always on or dim in reverse?
Posted by nyc4me on Saturday, January 5, 2008 10:14 PM

have installed two tsunami's and they work great. but haven't really figured out how to make the headlight stay on, dim ok, when in reverse. wondering if anyone has done it?

Also would appreciate hearing good experiences when operating on dc like maybe at the club or just somewhere not dcc.  I find both mine will indeed run but the sound is not in sync and looks like i might have to do another speed curve for dc.  I'm just guessing, don't know for sure, just haven't gotten that far yet.

thanks all!

The only reference to dimming headlights seems to be with CV 49 and using either a value of 1 or 17, according the the table on page 33 or 34 of the manual.  I haven't done this, but if it doesn't work, you won't wreck anything.  Just programme it back to 0, which I believe is the default.
