used stuff
Posted by DeadheadGreg on Thursday, December 27, 2007 11:38 PM

hey, i was just wondering if theres a place somewhere on the MR forums to go to post stuff you're looking to sell, or look at what people have for sale.

Me personally, i have a GE 44 ton switcher w/ Kadee's in the blue and yellow Santa Fe scheme.  I believe its a Bachman Spectrum, but I am not sure.  Its in mint condition; bought it as a kid, built it, then put it away.  its been run a few times, but thats it.  There isn't anything wrong with it at all.  I can get a picture if someone wants.

i also have a bunch of these Bachman EZ mate couplers i bought years and years ago that I need to get rid of.  I dont have them in front of me now, but they aren't center shank... i think they're undershank because the top of the coupler is completely level, as in the shank or hook part of the coupler hangs underneith the rest of the coupler, not in the middle like with center shank.  Just picture a center shank coupler, and then move the shank or coupler part down towards the track so that the top of the shank is even and in line with the top of the rest of the coupler.  Ive had to put washers on all my cars between the body and the trucks so that the body is raised up to where the couples are even with regular height.

let me know if anyone is interested.

I suggest posting your for sale items on ebay.  I bet you'll get more that you expect.

Yahoo Groups has an "HO yard sale" group. Sign up and post what you have like a bulletin board. No bidding like E-Bay.
