Programming CVs
Posted by Blind Bruce on Monday, November 26, 2007 1:08 PM

I have a BLI NW2 phase V with QSI sound and control. I want to increase the intensity of the front headlight. In scanning the QSI manual dated 2006, I find that CV 55.70.0 controls the dim function but nothing is said about the "running" brightness of the lamp. How is it possible to enter a CV to program that has two decimal points in it? I run a Digitrax Zephyr and haven't got very far into changing CV values yet.

There's no CV to increase the brightness of the headlight.  Changing the LED to a high intensity Golden Glow type from the likes of Litchfield Station would be the only way to make it brighter.

I changed the LED in an old Kato HO scale C-44 model and it really made a world of difference.
